IAInterview AI

FAQ

Interviews, exams, phone setups — everything you need to know.

Is it detectable?

Interview AI runs locally on your PC. Ghost mode uses Windows Display Affinity to hide the window from screen capture. The interviewer or examiner sees only your shared screen — not the app.

Does it work with Zoom, Teams and Meet?

Yes. It works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Discord and any platform that plays audio through your speakers or headphones — including video-proctored exams.

Does it support English and other languages?

Yes — English, German, Russian and 50+ languages. Speech recognition and AI responses adapt automatically to whatever language is spoken.

How fast are the answers?

Speech recognition via Groq: ~1 second. AI response streaming starts within ~0.2 seconds after the question is detected. Total time from question to visible answer: ~2–3 seconds.

Does it work for university exams, not just programming interviews?

Yes. Switch the preset to «Exam / Test» in Settings → Prompts. The AI will respond like a student being examined: concise definitions, formulas, dates, theory — for any subject (math, physics, history, CS, biology, economics and more).

How to use it for an oral exam on PC (Zoom/Teams)?

1. Open Interview AI on your PC. 2. Set preset to «Exam». 3. Join the exam call in Zoom/Teams as usual — sound from your headphones is captured automatically. 4. The examiner asks a question → AI streams the answer on screen in 2–3 sec. 5. Ghost mode hides the window if screen sharing is required.

Does it work for written online tests (not oral)?

For written tests where you read questions on screen: type or speak the question to the app manually using the text input field. For oral video exams it works fully automatically via audio capture.

The exam is a phone call — can I use the app?

The app captures audio from Windows audio output (loopback). For a phone call to work: set your phone to speaker mode and hold it near your PC's microphone, OR connect your phone call audio to PC via Bluetooth and set it as the Windows default output device. Then Interview AI will hear the examiner and stream answers on screen.

My exam is on Zoom on my phone — what is the best setup?

Best: also open the same Zoom link on your PC (mute your PC mic and camera to avoid echo) — just to capture audio. The phone handles the actual call. Interview AI on PC captures audio from the PC Zoom and shows answers. Alternatively route phone audio to PC via Bluetooth headset set as Windows default output.

I have only one device — phone. Does it work?

Currently Interview AI is a Windows desktop app and requires a PC running alongside. It is not a mobile app. For phone-only exams, you still need a laptop or desktop nearby to run the copilot and display answers.

Is Premium a one-time payment or subscription?

Monthly subscription (30 days). Pro and Pro+ are available via Telegram Stars through the bot. Free tier has 9 AI answers and never expires.

What is Telegram Stars and how do I pay?

Telegram Stars is the in-app currency of Telegram. You can buy them inside Telegram (Settings → Stars) or from third-party sellers like FunPay or Playerok for a discount. Then go to our bot and tap Pay.
